SEED THE STATE TOURNAMENT
I don't understand why the state tournaments are not seeded. If you want the best to play the best you need to have them meet in the finals, not the quarters or semis. I know basketball did this last year and it worked out fine. Perhaps no one wants to be labeled the 8th seed. Last year the #1 team in the South Dakota girls basketball tournament got beat by #8 Brandon Valley in the quarters.
By seeding the tournament you will generate more interest and, if the seeding is accurate, make for a much better tournament.
