Illinois middle hitter Johannah Bangert has been named to Academic All-District 5 second team.
ACC: North Carolina swept Duke with an 8 point margin. Brianna Eskola (Columbia Heights) had 21 digs for UNC.
BIG SKY: Weber State beat Northern Arizona in five with a margin of 1 point. The Jackson County Central duo of Brittney Bisaillon and Leah Burmeister had 19 and 6.5 points for WS.
MOUNTAIN WEST: Colorado State swept San Diego State by a 22 point margin. Tessa Nelson (Tracy-Milroy-Balaton) had 9 points for CSU.
WEST COAST: #24 Pepperdine swept Portland with a margin of 19 points. Jennifer Sheedy (Totino-Grace) had 6 points for Portland.

UM Duluth is #4 in the North Central poll. Augustana moves to #7.
BEACH
The Americans, including former Gopher Nicole Branagh and Tyra Turner are undefeated in the China FIVB Beach tournament.
