DEATH OF A COACH
The cause of death, according to the corner, of TriState coach Sarah Steele was internal bleeding. From the AP wire in the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

MAC STATS
Macalester had three players ranked in the final national D3 stats. Andrea Hansen finished 9th in hitting%; Sonia Muzikarova was 41st in kills per game; Kari Tanaka was 49th in assists per game.

HEART O' LAKES AWARDS
At least for West Central HS
Tana Lohse was on the all conference team
