GOPHERS SWEEP SIENA
Minnesota moves on to the round of 32 with a 16, 25, 15 sweep of Siena in Siena's back yard. At least at the Siena site you can see the play by play, something that hasn't been on the MN site all year. MN takes on St. John's tonight. They beat host Albany 3-1.
NUMBER CRUNCHING
fbso-%; points; earned-%; allowed -%
Minnesota 31/42--.738; 90; 72--.800; 25--.463
Siena 20/40--.500; 54; 29--.537; 18--.200
A dominating performance with fbso and earned points.
ROTATION POINTS
1 Tan/Chin (3) 16-9 .640
2 Peniata 15-11 .577
3 Bowman 17-9 .654
4 Crumpston 10-10 .500
5 Nelson/Fallon (3) 10-7 .588
6 Hartmann 22-7 .759
Hartmann's rotation really kick it last night. Hartmann had a string of 9 points in game one. For the early part of the year that rotation was trailing the others. Crumpston's rotation was hampered by missed serves. If this keeps up, who knows where the Gophers will stop? Omaha?
