Illinois beat Michigan State in four. Laura DeBruhler had 31 kills for Illinois.

Wisconsin bounced back and dodged a bullet with a narrow five game win over Northwestern.

Northern Iowa swept Indiana State. Amy Sampson (Champlin Park) had 9 kills for UNI.

North Dakota State beat UMKC in four. Kristin Hille (Sauk Rapids) had 20 kills for NDSU.

South Dakota State beat Western Illinois in four.

#16 Ohio beat Miami, OH in four. Amanda Andersen (Centennial) had one kill for Ohio.

Santa Clara upset #13 San Diego 3-1. Laurel Abrahamson (Bloomington Jefferson) had 12 kills for San Diego.

UConn outlasted Marquette in five. Bridget Denson-Dorman (Hopkins) had 71 assists for UConn.

Northeastern outlasted Georgia State in five. Leah Neubeck (Hopkins) had 30 digs for Northeastern.

Texas A&M beat Iowa State in four. Erin Boeve (Hills-Beaver Creek) had 12 kills for ISU.
