Carroll Verbals; Jones Hired

VERBAL
Casey Carroll, Osseo has made a verbal to Northern Michigan. She is the second Osseo player to verbal this year (Tia Russell is the other), and the second player in the 2008 class to verbal a D2 school. Eight have already verballed D1 programs. Carroll is a 6-1 RH. She averaged 1.3 blocks and 1.2 kills per match last year for the 16-12 Orioles.

COACHING NEWS
Lynette Jones has been named the new volleyball coach at Hamline. She previously was coached at Bethany Lutheran from 1991-2002 when it was a junior college. She replaces Gina Rollie who resigned earlier this spring.
