GRAND PRIX

China swept the Americans in the Grand Prix volleyball event in Rzeszow, Poland. Former Gopher Cassie Busse had one kill. The Americans are headed at Khabarovsk, Russia.


YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

U.S. Girls’ Youth National Team was swept by the Germans and is now 1-3 in Mexico in the Youth World Volleyball championships. Kelsey Brandl of Lakeville North started two games, but did not score a point.
