HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL PREVIEWS
The Brainerd Dispatch has a preview today with capsules of their area teams. Carla Stall begins her second year as Brainerd's coach and things are a bit more comfortable as the season begins.

The StarTribune also has their volleyball preview today with top 10 teams (Lakeville North is #1) and top 10 players to watch.

LATE FRIDAY RESULTS
Bemidji opened with a 3-1 win over Perham. The Lumberjills dropped the first game, then swept the remainder. The game marked the debut for Courtney Bitter in a Bemidji uniform. From the Bemidji Pioneer.

SCRIMMAGE RESULTS
Crookston did well at a scrimmage at Concordia Moorhead on Saturday. From the Crookston Times

UM Crookston finished 2-2 at Ferris State. From the Crookston Times.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE RESULTS
MN West finished 2-2 at the Fergus Falls tournament on Saturday. MW lost to Itasca, beat Riverland, lost to Rochester, and beat Mesabi.
