VERBAL
Alyssa Johnson, a 5’11” 2008 middle from Spring Lake Park HS and MN Select 17-2 has verballed SW MN State. She is the fourth player from the 08 class to verbal a D2 school, and 13th overall. Johnson had 175 kills last year.

ALL STAR GAME
Of the 20 D1 players that committed in the 2007 class only two played in the All Star game last night. Shanna Schmiesing of Sauk Centre and Courtney Halvorson or Red Lake County Central are both headed to North Dakota, a school in the process of moving to D1 status.

FALL CLINIC
Today is day two on of the Coaches clinic at Monticello High school. There will be a rules interpretation meeting to close the event. There was a good crowd to open the two day clinic yesterday.
