AMERICANS UPSET RUSSIA
In the Grand Prix Volleyball tournament Team USA beat #1 Russia in a sweep. USA plays China today. Former Gopher Cassie Busse had two kills.

CAMP GROWTH
St. Mary's volleyball coach Mike Lester has run a volleyball camp for 11 years in Winona. It has grown from 19 campers the first year to this year's total of 124. His approach and persistence is recounted in the Winona Daily News. Also WDN writer Rick Solum spent a day at camp as a camper and he writes of his experience.
