OPENING OF PRACTICE
The Minnesota Gophers officially started practice on Friday. Here are the three newcomers: Christine Tan, Rachelle Hagerty, and Krista Chin. You can read their interviews on the Gopher press release.

ASHBURN SISTERS
Monica and Leah Ashburn from Buffalo Lake-Hector are now both at Southwest MN State. Monica is a transfer from St. Cloud State, Leah is a freshman. Here is the Marshall Independent story about the Sister Act.
