MSU MANKATO OUTSIDERS
Senior Mandy Reuter, Orono, and Sophomore Ashley Nachreiner, Round Rock, TX will anchor the left side in the MSU Mankato offense. They will be counted on to finish plays. MINNESOTA WEST TO REACH HIGHER
MN West had a record breaking year last season making it to the Region 13A tournament for the first time in school history. All American Brittney Williams returns. Here is more from the Worthington Daily Globe.

CARLTON AIMING FOR STATE
Carlton is looking to get to the AA tournament this year. They were dropped by Esko in the finals of section 7 last season. The Polar league champs, coached by Barb Soukkala, has returning starters including daughter Danielle, a five year starter. Read more in the Cloquet Pine Journal.
