The StarTribune has come out with their all metro team in HS volleyball.
Hailey Cowles from Eden Prairie was named player of the year. Having seen her four times this year I can see the value in the selection. She was my player of the game in each of the four games I saw.
Here are the rest of the selections on the First Team and the second team. I only missed one player in my viewing this fall: outside hitter Ellie Duffy of Totino-Grace.
For the record the first team is solid and I have no quibbles.

Minnesota Gophers have three of the selections on the first team headed their way.
