SIGNINGS
North Dakota has signed Devin Trefz, Bagley a 6-1 MH and Shanna Schmiesing, Sauk Centre, a 5-10 OH.
St. Cloud State has signed Jennifer Waterman, Anoka a 5-11 S; Amy Gatz, Howard-Lake-Waverly-Winsted a 6-2 MH and Ashley Shields, Whitefish Bay, WI an OH.

HIEBERT
Gopher coach Mike Hiebert is featured in an article on the Big 10 site. It recounts his career at both Illinois and of course MN with his skill at program building.

POLLS
The #8 NCAA tournament seeded Gophers are the #9 team in the AVCA poll. Don't ask me how these things work out.

COACHING NEWS
Kim Falkenhagen has resigned at Bemidji State. Falkenhagen had a four year record of 35-94.

CONFERENCE NEWS
Milaca and Mora have a new conference home--the West Central. With the end of the Rum River five schools had to find a new conference. Foley already had been accepted into the now 18 team conference. The conference could divide into three 6 team divisions.
