WAGNER VERBALS
Lauren Wagner, Cretin-Derham Hall has made a verbal to Fairfield. The 6-1 Wagner can play any spot along the net. She is the 11th MN 2007 player to make a verbal, and the 8th to go to a D1 program.

TRIPLE DOUBLE
Betty Slinger, UW Green Bay, leads the country in Triple Doubles with 7. Slinger, a former Bethlehem Academy player, also won the Horizon Scholar-Athlete of the week last week. Also here is a list of the the TDs from the AVCA.

MIAC PLAYOFFS
#6 St. Benedict upset #3 Carleton in four in Northfield. It was the second straight season St. Ben's ended Carleton's year. St. Benedict will now play Gustavus Thursday at St. Peter.
#4 St. Thomas got revenge for a regular season loss against #5 Hamline in four. St. Thomas will now travel to Moorhead to face #1 Concordia Thursday night.

WIAC PLAYOFFS
The Brooms were out in three of the matches last night:
Eau Claire swept Stout
River Falls went three with Stevens Point. River Falls now faces Eau Claire on Friday.
Whitewater took out LaCrosse.
The exception was #7 Platteville's five trick over #2 Oshkosh. Platteville trailed 2-0 before their comeback win. Platteville won despite hitting .113 to Oshkosh's .166 and having 54 kills to 68. Platteville did have strong net play with 18.5 blocks to 11.
