COLLEGE GAME REPORTS
SW MN State swept St. Cloud State 21, 26, 22. The hitting combination of Megan Wendorff and Erin Contons for SW MN State proved to much to handle. They combined for 30 kills. more from the Marshall Independent. Wendorff was named D2 national player of the week.
Regis swept UM Crookston with the most compelling game #2 32-30.

HS GAME REPORTS
Albert Lea won their first game for new coach Melissa Wasmoen over Southland 26-24, 23, 19. From the Albert Lea Tribune.
Fillmore Central beat Lanesboro 3-1 last Friday, but the story can now be told via the Republican Leader
Crookston took out Thief River Falls 3-1 in their opener. They are half way to last year's win total of two. More from the Crookston Times.

There is a feature in the Winona Daily News about Wabasha-Kellogg and coach Katie Gove. Also featured in the same paper is the comeback of Anna Brehmer from an ACL injury.

Last year Winona State volleyball coach Connie Mettille was involved in a car a very serious car accident. She was hospitalized for 19 days. Yesterday Benjamin Douglass, the individual that provided alcohol to the driver was sentenced to two years probation. Here is more from the Winona Daily News.
