Note New Information: (1) The All Star Game is being opened up to top level varsity players from 9th through 12th grades-the MSHSL stated last week that there are no limitations for underclassmen playing in all star games after their season is completed; and (2) Nominations may be made by an immediate head coach, other head coaches, and the media; (3) If the nominations are low in the metro, the metro-nominated athletes will have the opportunity to play at the South Central All Star Game at St.Olaf College on Sunday, November 18th.

History of the Event: Last year's inaugural North Central event had 92volleyball players from 43 schools in the north central region of the state play matches in two days at Bemidji State University. 700+spectators and 20+ college coaches from four states observed the matches. There were not enough South Central nominations to have an event last year but we will have enough this time. A Metro All Star Game has been added as well.

Nomination Process: (a) email (copy and paste) or mail the following in order to dninham@clbs.k12.mn.us and if blocked send todninham@bemidji.k12.mn.us and/or Dan Ninham, 2323 Wee Gwaus Drive, Bemidji, MN, 56601; (b) nominate athletes in your conference or region by sending their name, school, and position to the above listed email address:

All Star Game Player Fee and Benefits: Each player is responsible to secure a $125 fee per All Star. Each player receives: (a) a Russell dri-fit jersey w/number on back and All Star Game logo on the front(athlete provides own black spandex shorts); (b) short sleeved roster printed t-shirt; (c) lunch; (d) and game day program.

10:30 am - All Star Games Coaches Meeting
10:45 am - All Star Games Players Meeting
11:00 am - Disbursement of Team Jerseys By Coaches
11:15 am - Lunch at Sorin Dining Hall
12:00 pm - Practice Session: HU Hutton Arena
1:00 pm - Doors Open For Spectators
1:30 pm - Begin of Match Play: Two Courts Being Played At One Time
