Class AAA is one of the least reported on in the newspapers. So some of these results in the Metro especially are thin, thin, thin.
But the big news was in 5AAA with #7 Maple Grove taking #2 Centennial in five games. MG had the jump early, Centennial battled back to tie, and MG took the final game 15-11. There was another upset winner in 5 with Osseo sweeping on the road at Champlin Park.
There were no other upsets of note.

1: Farmington moves on with a sweep of Rochester Century. Owatonna broomed Austin. From the Rochester Post Bulletin.

8: Bemidji kept rolling with a sweep of St. Cloud Tech. From the Bemidji Pioneer.

Sartell topped Big Lake in a fiver. plus other area results in the St. Cloud Times.
