COLLEGE
BIG 10
Penn State continued to march through the Big 10 conference unscathed with a sweep over Ohio State. Megan Hodge had 15 kills for PSU.

OTHER GAMES
Iowa State went five games with #3 Texas, but it was the Longhorns coming out with the victory. Erin Boeve (Hills-Beaver Creek) had 16 kills for ISU. Here is Boeve's Blog for week 15.

SIGNINGS
Here is the Marquette press release on their four new signees including Tiara Russell of Osseo. One correction---Osseo is no where near Brainerd.

NCAA TOURNAMENT
The Gophers are still in the hunt for a spot in the NCAA tournament. It would be their 9th straight trip. From the Star Tribune.
My guess is they will need to take at least one of the matches--probably against Illinois---to move on. Two losses and it becomes dicey.

ALL REGION
Ashley Nachreiner of MSU Mankato was named to the AVCA All Region team.

ALL CONFERENCE
Allie Oelke (Chaska) of Creighton was named to the Missouri Valley All Freshman team.

Laurel Abrahamson (Bloomington Jefferson) of San Diego was named to the first team West Coast Conference team.

OLYMPICS
Cassie Busse is set for the 2008 Olympics. From the Prior Lake American.
