AAA TOURANMENT OUTLOOK
Here is what I have seen in the teams in the AAA tournament. Owatonna was the only team to escape my vision. I have seen 7 of the 8 teams involved, some more than once.

I have seen one team in class A---Mayer Lutheran; and five in AA (Stewartville, Jordan, Marshall, Visitation, and Delano).

Anyway for the seven teams in AAA--
Hopkins leads in first ball side out % at .692. However I only saw them early on, so the sample is pretty small. Blaine and Shakopee also were over .600 on FBSO.
Shakopee earned the most points on average. I saw them in three matches and they came in at 18.35 ppg, which is 1.35 more than second place STMA.
Lakeville North led in least points allowed with 6.61 or in other words, they didn't beat themselves. Hopkins, Shakopee, and Blaine also were under 10 points allowed in the games I watched.
So the differential between points scored and points allowed broke down like this
Shakopee 11.24
Lakeville North 9.01
Andover 6.00

Could this be the way the state ends up----no because Shakopee and LN play in the semis. Andover will have an emotional game against Blaine in the quarters.

AA OUTLOOK
Here is the Rochester Post Bulletin on Stewartville's 18th appearance. Coach Dzubay is impressed with the Tigers defense.

A OUTLOOK
GFW is the surprise team in Class A. Here is a report from the Hutchinson Leader.

Stay tuned.
