AA RESULTS
There were six contests that ended up 3-0 yesterday in AA, the most in any class.
1: Stewartville swept Caledonia. Erin Ness is back for Stewartville. It is the third straight trip for Stewartville.

2: Jordan broomed LeSueur-Henderson. I thought the Mankato paper might have something on this. I was wrong.

3: Marshall trailed 2-1 before rallying to beat Yellow Medicine East. Game five went 17-15. Since the Marshall and West Central papers aren't published on Sunday, I am sure we will be reading about that one on Monday.

4: Visitation beat Minneahaha in four. Nothing in either major metropolitan paper on this contest.

5: Delano had a tight sweep of Becker. Story, or paragraph, is at the end of the Shakopee story in the StarTribune.

6: St. Cloud Cathedral mowed down Maple Lake in three. The undefeated Crusaders are in the big show for the third straight year. From the St. Cloud Times.

7: Hibbing shut out Greenway. It was coach Gail Nucech's 799th win in her career. From the Duluth News Tribune.

8: DGF blanked Fergus Falls. DGF is 30-0. From the Fargo Forum and Fergus Falls Daily Journal. Jenna Green is back from the ankle injury for DGF.
Before the game FF coach Renee Erickson told her team to leave it on the court. also from the FFDJ.

BREAKDOWN
Technically the lowest seed advancing to the state tournament is Marshall as a 2SW seed in section 3 (Pipestone was #1). But Marshall has been in the top 10 all year and there for I do not consider the win over YME an upset. Everyone else was a 1 seed.
