GFW Crashes the Party

A RESULTS
1: Bethlehem Academy topped Wabasha-Kellogg in four. It is FBA's sixth straight trip to the bright lights. 6-2 Holly Hafemeyer had 16 blocks (according to the Winona paper) for FBA. From the Rochester Post Bulletin and Winona Daily News.

2: upstart #4 North seed GFW is headed to state with after a five gamer with Martin County West. From the New Ulm Journal.

3: In the #1 vs #2 battle in the state polls it was Windom beating Minneota in four. This is another case where the Marshall and Worthington papers will have the story on Monday.

4: Mayer Lutheran outlasted Meadow Creek in four. Again nothing from the big two metro papers.

5: BBE stopped Pine River-Backus in four. go to the tail end of the St. Cloud Times article.

6: Wheaton upset Ada-Borup in a fiver with the final going 19-17. This game was at Morris and the Fargo and Grand Forks papers didn't get there.

7: Chisholm upset Hill City in four. It is the Bluestreaks first trip to the show. From the Duluth News Tribune.

8: The Northern Freeze froze out Lake of the Woods in three. From the Grand Forks Herald.

As you can see you can leave after the first game in AAA and AA and know who will win the match. In class A you never know what you will get. There were more upsets, more close games.
