Penn State will go for the outright Big 10 championship Friday against Northwestern. The Nittany Lions face Wisconsin on Saturday.

Northwestern set an attendance record when they hosted Minnesota last weekend.

UW Eau Claire's Abby Freiborg (Renville County West) has been named to the 2008 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Five College Division Women’s Volleyball Third Team.

ALL AMERICAN
St. Thomas had two players make the 2008 AVCA Division III All-America Volleyball: Katie McCaffrey of Fort Collins, CO on the first team, and setter Emily Foster of Hopkins made the second team.
