UMD Upsets SW MN State

D2 RESULTS
NORTHERN SUN
#23 Wayne State, Nebraska swept St. Cloud State with a margin of 24 points. It was WSN coach Scott Kneifl's 100 career win. Mindy Moody (Sioux City Heelan) had 16 points for WSN. Kayla Tschida (Upsala) had 9 points for SCSU.

Minnesota State Moorhead swept Northern State with a margin of 17 points. Kelci Guenther (Williston, ND) had 12 points for the Dragons. Kayla Ysteboe (Grand Forks Red River) had 18 points for Northern.

Minnesota State Mankato swept Bemidji State with a margin of 16 points. Ashley Nachreiner (Round Rock, TX) had 20.5 points for the Mavericks. Heather Sampson (Champlin Park) and Nicole Olson (Lake of the Woods) had 12 points each for the Beavers.

UM Crookston beat Mary in five with a margin of 2 points. UMC led 2-0. UMC's Jacklyn Slepicka (Crystal Lake, IL) reached the 1000 career dig mark.

Winona State beat Upper Iowa in four with a margin of 17 points. Kerry Daly (Woodbury) had 14 points for WS. Shea Meyerman (Camanche, IA) had 12.5 points for UIU.

#17 UM Duluth upset #3 SW MN State in a sweep. The margin was 12 points. Katie Gangelhoff (South St. Paul) became the all time leader in assists at UMD with 5598 in her career. Sarah Wyffels (Marshall) had 15.5 points for UMD. Laura Hegerle (Kasson-Mantorville) had 13.5 points for the Mustangs.

#1 Concordia St. Paul beat #22 Augustana in four with a margin of 4 points. Ellie Duffy (Totino-Grace) had 19.5 points for CSP. Ellen Andrews (Bancroft-Rosalie, Nebraska) had 19 points for Augustana.
