ALL STAR GAMES
The inaugural Tri-State All Star Volleyball Games will be held on Sunday, November 23rd, 2008 at the Performance Court on the campus of the Rochester Community and Technical College, Rochester, Minnesota:http://www.rctc.edu/athletics/html/fieldhouse/virtual_tour/3.htm
Team Wisconsin, Team Iowa and Team Minnesota will be formed to compete among the elite of the northern central part of the country.
Nominations are being sought for Minnesota's elite senior volleyball players to be considered for Team Minnesota. Nominate your own athlete and/or your opposing athletes. Requirement: Elite senior volleyball players will only be considered.
Also nominate a Minnesota head coach to serve as Team Minnesota's head coach at the Tri-State All Star Volleyball Games.
Send nominations by this Friday noon, October 24th, to ninham1asap@charter.net (the digit after 'ninham' is the number one and not the letter 'l') and dninham@clbs.k12.mn.us to assure the nomination will be accepted; a reply of your nomination will be emailed to you upon receipt of the nomination; if you don't receive a reply within 24 hours of your nomination, call Dan Ninham at 218-368-6430.
Send the following criteria in the order listed for all star athlete nominations: 1. name of athlete, 2. athlete's high school, 3. athlete's position, 4. athlete's height, 5. athlete's head varsity coach, 6. athlete's email address, 7. athlete's mailing address, 8. athlete's head varsity coach's name, 9. athlete's head varsity coach's email address, 10. athlete's head varsity coach's home/work/cell phone number/s, and 11. nominator's name, email address, and phone number/s. All demographic information will be confidential and not given out to anyone.
