GOPHERS EDGE NORTHWESTERN
Minnesota defeated Northwestern in five tonight, but it was touch & go. Minnesota led 28-26 in game four when it slipped away. They couldn't get the key side out when it mattered.
They did come back for the win in game five with Meredith Nelson finishing points 13 and 14 with kills. Kelly Bowman had an ace to finish the night. Nelson hit .344 on the night. Kyla Roehrig had 18 kills.
