LATE SATURDAY HS RESULTS
Albert Lea finished 3rd in the Hayfield tournament. They opened with a 2-0 win over Southland, and then a three games the rest of the way winning against Lyle-Pacelli, losing to host Hayfield, and finishing up with a win over Lewiston-Altura. From the Albert Lea Tribune.

Brainerd's Karlye Barron had 34 kills on the day as Brainerd finished 5th in the Buffalo Tournament. From the Brainerd Dispatch.

Pierz finished second, with the help of 40 kills on the day for Katie Kimman, in the Ogilvie tournament. Their only loss was to Two Harbors. Also Pillager at Park Rapids is in the Brainerd Dispatch.

Willmar finished 1-3 in the power packed SW Challenge at Marshall this weekend. Their win came on the last match of the tournament for 15th place against Dassel-Cokato. More details in the West Central Tribune.

LATE JUCO RESULTS
Central Lakes lost to Mesabi Range on Friday in five with the fifth game 15-13. CL won games two and four. On Saturday CL swept Vermilion 11, 14, 8. From the Brainerd Dispatch.

Madison Area beat Ridgewater in the finals of the Rochester Tournament. Rochester was 2-2 on the day.

ONCE AGAIN
We already had the SW MN State games covered this weekend, but the Marshall Independent doesn't run on Sunday, so the full treatment couldn't be given. The MSU Moorhead game is given ample coverage.
