ROBINSON, MUELLER VERBAL
Jillian Robinson, a middle from Waukesha Catholic Memorial, and Lindsey Mueller, a setter from West Bend West have made verbals. Robinson will go to Northeastern in Boston, and Mueller to Binghamton, NY. Both of these players are from Wisconsin. When I get tips I will put the information up. GOPHER DIET COKE CLASSIC
Minnesota hosts their first home game this weekend with a tournament. Tonight the Gophers will play Connecticut followed by games tomorrow afternoon against Tulane and Dayton. Story from the MN Daily.
THURSDAY RESULTS

Marshall swept Pipestone in a battle between top 10 teams in the Southwest conference 22, 17, 27-25. Amanda Beekman had 20 kills for the Tigers. Story from the Marshall Independent.
Winona lost the first game but took the next three in a four game match in a cross state battle with Eau Claire Memorial. From the Winona Daily News.
Maple Grove swept Elk River 18, 11, 15 in Northwest Suburban Conference action. MG did it with one of their 6-2 setters, Kristin Patterson, injured in a car accident driving to MG to get on the bus to Elk River. Allie Kravfe ran the 5-1. From the Elk River Star.
Fergus Falls was down 2-0 before their comeback win against Rocori in Central Lakes action. FF was hammered in game one 25-11, and lost the next by two. They then won the next two games by two and finished with a 15-11 win.

Jenny Gilbertson had an ace to end game four and a kill to end game five to help Winona Cotter to a 3-2 win over Rochester Lourdes. From the Winona Daily News.
LATE WEDNESDAY RESULTS
Wayzata downed Osseo in a battle of Section 5AAA teams on Wednesday. Osseo had 13 missed serves on the night. Melissa Henderson had 14 kills for Osseo.
Central Lakes went five games with Northland in Thief River Falls in JUCO action.
