Marshall Open New Gym with a Win

Marshall opened in their new gym with a 16, 15, 14 sweep of Worthington. This weekend Marshall hosts a major tournament. One of the teams entered is Tartan with coach Dana Pederson from Cottonwood. From the Marshall Independent. and the Worthington Daily Globe with more local results too.

Bemidji picked up their fifth win with a sweep of Thief River Falls 26-24, 16, 11. from the Bemidji Pioneer

Winona Cotter swept Kasson-Mantorville 21, 22, 26-24. The third game KM had a 23-21 lead when WC's Devin Bowlin put down a kill to tie it at 23 and added two aces to close out the game. More in the Winona Daily News.
Waterville-Elysian-Morristown swept Mankato Loyola 22, 11, 29-27. from the Mankato Free Press.
DGF swept Breckenridge 12, 23, 10 in the Heart O'Lakes conference opener. DGF is #2 in the state. More in the Fargo Forum.
