LATE TUESDAY RESULTS
Osseo beat #5 A Meadow Creek Christian in five last night. The Orioles finished with a 15-13 win. Melissa Henderson had 19 kills and Tia Russell had 10. Casey Carroll had 3 blocks on the night. Osseo evens their record at 5-5, Meadow Creek is at 5-3-1. Osseo faces Andover on Thursday.
Crookston has developed a habit of falling behind early. It is not a good habit to get into. East Grand Forks took advantage of that trait with a 15, 9, 18 win. from the Crookston Times.
St. Cloud State swept UM Crookston as reported earlier. What wasn't reported earlier was the Crookston Times' version of events.
LAST WEEK
Chatfield split the week with a loss to #2 Stewartville and a win over Three Rivers foe St. Charles. They are now 3-0 in the TRC. From the Chatfield News.
TONIGHT
Minneapolis Henry swept Minneapolis Roosevelt 10, 15, 18. Lucia Carver had 7 aces, and Stef Zappa had 6 to propel the Patriot victory. This game's subplot: Jill Kalvik, the current Roosevelt head coach, was on the Henry staff for the past two years. Henry FBSO was at .519; and Roosevelt .407.
