UM Duluth, and Concordia St. Paul Win Titles in Denver

TWO DENVER TITLES
#2 UM Duluth swept North Central rival Augustana in the Denver Premier Tournament. The Bulldogs then beat #25 SW MN State 3-1 in the finals.
SW MN State beat #14 West Texas A&M in the first game Saturday. Erin Contons and Leah Ashburn made the all tournament team for SW MN State.

Augustana finished third with a victory over West Texas A&M.

There was another D2 tournament in Denver: the Days Inn-Denver West Volleyball Classic. Concordia St. Paul swept Adams State, and Mesa State on Saturday. Maggie McNamara was named to the All tournament team.

South Dakota picked up wins 8 and 9 with victories over Newman and Missouri Western State in the St. Joseph’s, Mo. Tournament.

MN State Mankato won twice at the Rockhurst they won in five games over UC-Colorado Springs and then swept Nebraska-Kearney.

UN Omaha beat St. Leo and Lees-McRae in a sweep in the Florida Southern tournament.

North Dakota took Chadron State in a 3-1 win in the North Dakota tournament.
Dickinson State beat MN State Moorhead in five, and UM Crookston fell to Northern Michigan in other UND tournament games.

St. Cloud State fell twice at the Flyer Festival in Illinois. UW Parkside and Southern Indiana each had wins at the Huskies expense.
Winona State finished the tournament with a 3-1 record. They beat St. Joseph's and Southern Indiana on Saturday.
