Black Injured in Car Accident

CAR ACCIDENT
On Monday, co-captain and junior Kara Black, MN Valley Lutheran, was involved in a car accident enroute to school. Fortunately, after the car caught fire, Kara was able to pull herself out and sustained various injuries ~ none life-threatening. Kara has been a 3 year varsity player for MVL and at the time of her accident was the top kills leader, the #2 setter, and one of the top passers/diggers as well. "We are thankful that Kara will be back on the court next season!," said coach Julie Detjen.

GAME REPORTS
Holy Family beat Zimmerman in four. Their only loss was in the second game.

Forest Lake is 14-3 and two of the losses have come at the hands of Anoka. The last loss came in the championship game in the Duluth East tournament 16, 14. More from the Forest Lake Times.
