HS TOURNAMENTS
Tournament season is transitioning from regular season to post season. Three tournaments closed out the regulars season tournaments.

#1AAA Chaska won their own tournament with a convincing 10, 15 sweep of Cretin-Derham Hall. The win was Chaska's 16th straight. From the Chaska Herald.

#1AA DGF won the Moorhead Pumpkin Classic over the hosts but the games were tight throughout with two points separating the two every time. DGF is 25-1 going into sections. From the Fargo Forum.

Winona Cotter finished in 12th place in the Rochester Century tournament losing to the hosts. From the Winona Daily News.
Rochester Mayo won the event with a 10, 21 win over Kingsland.

CANCER SURVIVOR
Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's Jackie Venero has battled ovarian cancer since 2004. Her battle and her volleyball are highlighted in an article in the Mankato Free Press.
