Concordias St. Paul & Moorhead Win Twice

MORE ON THE GOPHERS
The MN Daily has more on the eastern road trip where the Gophers beat #14 Ohio State, and taking a game off #2 Penn State.

North Dakota State had a four game win over IPFW. In that match 3 NDSU players had over 20 digs including Libero Kari Fagnan with 28 which tied an NDSU record in a four game set.
On Friday NDSU knocked off IUPUI in a sweep.

NORTHERN SUN ACTION
Concordia St. Paul continued its roll in the Northern Sun with two sweeps over Bemidji State and MSU Moorhead.
SW MN State was down 2-1 to Northern State, but bounced back to win 3-2. Erin Contons put down 37 kills for SW MN State.
#24 Wayne State won twice with sweeps over Mary and MSU Moorhead.
UM Crookston picked up a win over Upper Iowa in four games.

River Falls beat LaCrosse in four.
Platteville came back after losing on Friday with a four game win over Stout.

ST. THOMAS BORDER BATTLE
#11 St. Thomas won two more on Saturday in their Border Battle with four game wins over #9 Central IA and Cornell.
#4 Concordia Moorhead won twice on Saturday beating Central IA in five and Cornell in a sweep. CM beat Central IA 33-31 in a crucial fourth game. Earlier CM had a 31-29 win in game one.
St. Benedict beat both Buena Vista and Wartburg in four.
Carleton split with a win over Buena Vista and a loss to Wartburg.

Bethany beat Presenation in three--however no links on their sites.
Northland did the same to Crown--again not a link was found.
Nothing was found on Northwestern MN's four game win over St. Scholastica.
UM Morris has their act together with a link on their split this weekend. UMM beat Bethany Lutheran Friday and lost to Martin Luther on Saturday.

MORE HS ACTION
Marshall bounced back with two wins after splitting on Friday. Marshall picked up wins over Mayer Lutheran and Wayzata in the 5th place game. From the Marshall Independent.
