Concordia Moorhead swept past Mayville State in the Cobber Invitational and then finished the day with a four game win over Valley City State.

Hamline opened with a pair of wins for new coach Lynnette Jones in the UW Eau Claire tournament. Hamline beat UW River Falls in four and then swept UM Morris.

Gustavus also won twice at Eau Claire beating the #18 hosts and UW Stout in sweeps.

Eau Claire split on the day with the loss to Gustavus and a sweep of River Falls.

St. Olaf lost twice in sweeps in the Northwestern MN tournament to Carleton in the first match and then to St. Mary's of Nebraska in the second.
Carleton, besides beating St. Olaf, swept Augsburg.

St. Benedict swept Wartburg in the opening match and then were swept by the hosts at the UW LaCrosse tournament.
