Mpls Henry traveled down to Rochester and were beat four straight times. They were swept both games on Friday with Montgomery-Lonsdale and Rochester Century.
The tightest game Henry was involved in was the first game on Saturday with Irondale. Irondale won the first game 25-23. Henry tied it at 22, but a missed serve gave the ball back to Irondale.
In game two Irondale led 13-9 before Henry made their comeback. Mai Chia Yang came in as a pinch server and notched five points on her serve. Irondale came back and had Henry on the brink at 24-22. Schanell Gauna fought off game point with a side out kill. An Irondale hitting error tied the game at 24. An Irondale kill gave them the 25-24 advantage, but another hitting error gave the ball back to Henry. Kiah Hanssen-Kilpatrick served up the final two points--with a Jannetta Parker kill and, once again, an Irondale hittinger error for a 27-25 win.
Irondale shook off the hittinger errors and limited themselves to two in game three. They started off with a 5-0 run to start the game. The closest Henry got in this episode was 10-8. But Henry wasn't able to generate the kills they did in game two and they lost 15-9.

The finals showcased Rochester Mayo and Kingsland. Now word on the victor.
