GOPHER CHANCES
Minnesota's Big 10 title chances were derailed in Ann Arbor as the Gophers were ambushed by the Wolverines Saturday night. From the MN Daily. The headline says title chances nearly gone. I would say a snow flakes chance in a blast furnace.

Meredith Nelson did reach another career milestone with her 500th career block. It happened against Michigan.

NORTH CENTRAL REGIONAL
MSU Mankato made the North Central Region tournament with a 7th place finish in their poll. As a result they will open with #2 UM Duluth. SW MN State is #5 and will face a familiar Northern Sun rival #4 Wayne State. #1 Concordia St. Paul will host the event Thursday through Saturday. The way the brackets are set up it will be a North Central vs Northern Sun finale.

LATE HS SECTION RESULTS
Marshall's sweep of Hutchinson is now up on the Marshall Independent site. It is Marshall's 6th straight trip to the Excel Energy Center.

Pipestone beat Springfield. Yesterday the game story was from the Springfield angle. Today it is from the Pipestone side. It is two in a row for Pipestone. From the Worthington Daily Globe.

Minneota dropped SW Star in four to advance in 3A. From the Marshall Independent and the Worthington Daily Globe.
