MN HS SECTION RESULTS
AAA

Both top seeds advanced with #1 Owatonna taking Northfield in four, and #2 Lakeville North sweeping Rochester Mayo.

Both games went 3-1 as the top seeds moved on to the finals. Blaine beat Totino-Grace and Andover passed up Anoka.

SOUTH DAKOTA STATE WINS TWICE
SDSU picked up season win #20 by beating Montana in a sweep on Monday night. On Tuesday it was #21 with a four game win over Montana State. Kristina Martin set a new SDSU record with 33 kills in a four game match. Their finale of the season is Saturday with their neighbor to the north NDSU.

NORTHERN SUN TOURNEY
The Northern Sun tournament begins today at Concordia St. Paul.
SW MN State is the third seed. The Marshall Independent has a feature on MH Kasey Loeslie. The Mustangs face Winona State in the first round.

NORTHERN SUN ALL CONFERENCE
Jessica Lucia, Concordia St. Paul, was named player of the year for the second year in a row in the Northern Sun. Laura Dozelal, Wayne State took the Libero award for the second year straight. CSP took two other top honors with Maggie McNamara grabbing the freshman honor, and coach Brady Starkey winning the coach of the year award for the third time in four years.

MIAC ALL CONFERENCE
The MIAC has come out with their all conference selections. Becca Shane, Concordia Moorhead is player of the year. Emily Klein, Gustavus and Laura Zwach, St. Benedict shared the honor for defensive player of the year. Tasha Simmons, Hamline won the freshman of the year. Three coaches share the honor for coach of the year: Tim Mosser, Concordia Moorhead, Kari Eckhaert, Gustavus, and Gina Rollie, Hamline all got a slice of the award.

The semis in their conference tournament are tonight with St. Thomas at Concordia Moorhead and St. Benedict at Gustavus.
