UMD/Concordia St.Paul Rematch

D1 INDEPENDENT TOURNAMENT
North Dakota State is hosting this Independent Tournament and split their opening two games in pool play. They beat Texas Pan Am 3-1 and then went to a marathon with IPFW 2-3. This was despite outhitting IPFW .325 to .211. Sheila Parrish tied a 5 game kill mark for NDSU with 33.
South Dakota State also split. They swept Providence, but in turn was swept by Utah Valley State.

D2 NORTH CENTRAL TOURNAMENT
Both top seeds move on for the third confrontation of the year, and this is for all the marbles. #2 UM Duluth beat Augustana in four. #1 Concordia St. Paul, the hosts, also won in four over Wayne State. Both teams won at home. UMD would have to break that trend today. It will be the fourth straight region final between the two teams.

D3 MIDWEST REGIONAL TOURNAMENT
It will be an all WIAC final in the Midwest Regional as Whitewater beat St. Thomas in a sweep, while host UW Eau Claire stopped Concordia Moorhead's run in a fiver.
The AVCA named their All American teams and Becca Shane of Concordia Moorhead, Dana Alf of UW Platteville and Leah Rosenbaum, UW Oshkosh are on the first team. Carly Freiborg, UW Eau Claire and Renville County West made the Second team.
