GOPHERS ON MICHIGAN ROAD TRIP
The Minnesota Gophers travel to Michigan this weekend and the MN daily has a preview of the upcoming battles with the Spartans and Wolverines.

If you like tournaments this is the time of year for you.

NORTHERN SUN TOURNAMENT
SW MN State swept Winona State to open the NSIC tournament. SW MN State beat Winona State in five a week ago. From the Marshall Independent.
Concordia St. Paul got the brooms out for Bemidji State. It was CSP's 60th straight win over NSIC team. Bemidji State ends the season at 7-25.
Wayne State also ran the table against UM Crookston.
#5 Northern State beat #4 MSU Moorhead in five. It was the only contest to go past three. Northern trailed 2-1. The Forum also has the recap of the action.
In today's action Concordia St. Paul faces Northern State, while SW MN State battle Wayne State.

MIAC SEMIFINALS
#6 St. Benedict upset #2 Gustavus in four.
#1 Concordia Moorhead advanced to the finals with a sweep of #4 St. Thomas. the Fargo Forum also has a story, and WDAY has video.
Concordia Moorhead will now face St. Ben's on Saturday in Moorhead.

NCCAA TOURNAMENT
Northwestern, MN is hosting the NCCAA tournament. Yesterday they split in their matches. They lost to Mount Vernon Nazarene in three and beat Simpson, CA in four in pool play.

HONORS
The North Central Conference has named their academic all conference team. MSU Mankato had three players make the list: Megan Stroud, Mandy Reuter, and Cassie Wolpern.
