REACTIONS TO THE MURDER
Todd Bachman, father of former Lakeville player Elisabeth "Wiz" Bachman-McCutcheon was murdered in Beijing. Bachman-McCutcheon played her college ball at UCLA and the Bruins share in the mourning. Bachman-McCutcheon is married to Hugh McCutcheon, coach of the USA men's indoor team.
The men's team has released a statement on the incident.
The USA men's team opened with a five game win over Venezuela. Ron Larsen coached the team in McCutcheon's absence. From the AP
