SW MN CHALLENGE
A number of the teams that were in the state tournament last year are in the SW MN Challenge tournament this fall (Marshall, Andover, Lakeville North, STMA, Hopkins, Woodbury, & Owatonna). Six of the eight teams in the Class AAA state tournament field are entrants in the tournament.

The 2008 SWMN Challenge is the largest high school volleyball tournament in the history of Minnesota volleyball. Each team will play two matches on Friday and three matches on Saturday.

The 32-team field also includes three teams from North Dakota (Bismarck Century, West Fargo, Fargo South) and one team from South Dakota (Sioux Falls Washington). The 32 teams have over 150 state tournament appearances between them.

The 3rd Annual Southwest Minnesota Challenge will be played at the new Marshall High School and at Southwest Minnesota State University in the Recreational/Athletic Facility.
