THURSDAY NIGHT RESULTS
It was a dark and stormy night. Severe weather struck the Twin Cities and our game at South was no exception. During the JV match in the first game everyone was evacuated from the gym and put into the interior hall due to tornado warning. 40 minutes later we returned to the gym. In the meantime torrential downpours struck outside. Luckily there were no tornadoes in our vicinity.

South bounced back from a loss on Wednesday to Southwest with a sweep (19, 20, 14) against Henry.

In the Northwest Suburban Andover beat Osseo in 5. Osseo won the first two, then Andover took over 20-25, 11-25, 25-16, 25-15, 15-8.

In the Hiawatha Valley Byron defeated Zumbrota Mazeppa in another five game marathon and again coming back despite losing the first two 19-25, 23-25, 28-26, 25-14, 15-6. Jill Storlie had 27 kills for Byron.

Burnsville is off to its best start since 2003. The Savage Pacer goes more in depth on the season, and the win over Eastview on Tuesday.

Randolph is unbeaten in the Gopher conference so far and the Cannon Falls Beacon shines some light on the matter.
