It took five games for Grand Meadow to beat Southeast rival Houston. From the Austin Daily Herald.

Pine River-Backus is 7-0 after their five game win over Crosby-Ironton. From the area coverage in the Brainerd Dispatch.

LATE WEEKEND
Albert Lea finished in 5th place in the Hayfield Tournament held Saturday. The Tigers were 2-2 on the day.

D2 POLLS
Area teams are well represented in the AVCA D2 poll this week. Concordia St. Paul stayed at #3 with UM Duluth one spot behind. SW MN State moves to #11. Two NCC teams are next with Augustana #13 and UN Omaha #14. MN State Mankato is the final area team to crack the list at #23.
