UM Duluth Sweeps SW MN State

Minnesota travels to play a "weak" Iowa team (The MN Daily's words in quotes). Hawkeye Becky Walters is out for the season with a knee injury.

St. Louis beat Northern Iowa in five. Amy Sampson (Champlin Park) had a career high 19 kills for UNI.

Stony Brook swept Fordham. Alicia Nelson (Eastview) had six kills for Stony Brook.

In the marquee match up last night it was #3 UM Duluth sweeping #4 SW MN State in Marshall. This was a rematch of the Denver Premier finals also won by UMD.

In another battle of ranked teams #6 Concordia St. Paul broomed #11 Augustana.

#16 MSU Mankato beat wounded Winona State in four. Also from the Winona Daily News.

#22 UN Kearney edged #21 UN Omaha in five in a battle of ranked Nebraska schools.

St. Cloud State dropped UM Crookston in four.

Upper Iowa swept Mt. Mercy.

Bethel swept St. Mary's.

St. Catherine edged Martin Luther in four.

Stevens Point defeated Lawrence in a sweep. Pam Nora (Forest Lake) had 9 kills for UWSP.
