Indiana Drops Ohio State

BIG 10
Illinois swept Northwestern. Illinois Freshman Laura DeBruhler had 20 kills.

Indiana kept Ohio State reeling with a four game win. Indiana's Annie Moddrell had 27 kills.

Penn State shut out Purdue. PSU is 4-0 in the conference.

Wisconsin triumphed over Michigan State in four. The Badgers are also atop the Big 10 standings at 4-0.

Minnesota faces Michigan today at 1 pm.

SUMMIT LEAGUE
North Dakota State beat Western Illinois in four. NDSU's Kari Fagnan (Fridley) had a school record 34 digs in the contest.

South Dakota State swept UMKC to remain unbeaten in the Summit. SDSU's Amy Anderson (Huron) set a new school career block assist record with 349 and counting. The old record was 345. Emily Rooney (Red Wing) had 9 kills for SDSU.

OTHERS
Iowa State beat Texas Tech 3-1. ISU's Erin Boeve (Hills-Beaver Creek) had 17 kills on the night.

Stony Brook lost to Albany in five in the America East opener.

Providence won twice at the North Carolina Central tournament with wins over North Carolina A&T and Savannah State. Sarah Fleming (Cretin-Derham Hall) had 17 kills in the NC A&T game and 12 kills in the Savannah State game.

San Diego swept San Francisco in the West Coast opener. Laurel Abrahamson (Bloomington Jefferson) had 12 kills to lead USD.
