EASTVIEW TOURNAMENT
3rd place
WOODBURY royals 2, ANDOVER huskies 1
(20-25, 25-21, 16-14)

In keeping with the theme of the day (three set matches) Woodbury beat Andover with a twist. This time the victor lost the first set. Also the Royals trailed 10-4 in set three when they went on a seven point run thanks in part to five straight Andover hitting errors. Andover led 14-12 when Michelle Graham got the key side out kill. Maddie Kelzenberg added two blocks including the final point for the win.

Woodbury held a 19-17 lead in set won when Andover scored six straight. Two overpass kills were part of the equation along with two Royal hitting errors. That took the momentum to the Husky side.

Andover led 10-7 in set two when Woodbury put together a six point run. Two services later they added another five point run to pull out to a 20-14 lead. Andover fought back with a 7-2 run to close to 22-21. A side out kill by Felicia Ulrich stopped the Huskies and forced an Andover time out. Ulrich put down an overpass kill and then a lift call ended the set.

Andover was in the driver's seat in the third set at 10-4 when the seven point swing hit with full force. Andover gift wrapped the last six of those points as they all involved passing or hitting errors. Andover did bounce back with a 4-1 run to be on the verge at 14-12 but a side out kill by Michelle Graham gave the Royals new hope. With Graham serving the taller Royals blocking game took over with two of the last three points with Maddie Kelzenberg providing blocks.
