Five is Lucky for CDH

AAA PLAYOFFS
Three sections punched tickets to St. Paul----Cretin-Derham Hall is the closest, but had to travel from furthest back. Also going to the dance-Wayzata and Andover.


SECTION 4
The stunner last night was #5 seed Cretin-Derham Hall picking up their third upset in 4AAA with a five set win over #2 seed Stillwater. Stillwater had a 12 point advantage on the night. This is CDH's first trip to state since 1998. This was CDH's second straight five set match. From the StarTribune.

SECTION 6
#1 seed Wayzata beat #2 Hopkins in four. I reported on this contest last night. Wayzata's margin on the night was 16. Here is the StarTribune's version.

SECTION 7
#2 seed Andover swept #1 Grand Rapids with a margin of 25 points. From the Duluth News Tribune.

TONIGHT
The only game in the state tonight features 8AAA's final. #1 North Alexandria faces #1 South St. Michael-Albertville at St. Cloud Tech at 7 pm.
