MILLERS GRIND PATRIOTS
On Parents Night at Washburn it was Miller Time as they swept Henry in a rare Friday night match. In the first set they used a totally senior line up. Sam Schleicher served up seven points after a side out for an 8-0 lead. Later in the same set she served up another six. So Schleicher had 13 of the Washburn points in the points. In set two the contest was tighter with Washburn holding a 20-18 lead. The Millers finished that contest with a 5-1 run. The third game was another tight affair with Henry rallying from a 17-8 deficit with a 15-5 run to take a 23-22 lead. Two hitting errors and an ace later Washburn left the floor happy.
