Virginia beat Maryland in four with a margin of 11 points. It was Virginia's 500th win for their program. Marlow Bruneau had 19 assists and 2.5 points for the Cavaliers.

Wake Forest swept North Carolina with a margin of 24 points. Brianna Eskola had 4 digs for UNC.

Iowa State swept Oklahoma with a 23 point margin. Diane Kieger (Mounds View) had 9 points for ISU.

Sacramento State topped Weber State in five with a margin of 2 points. The Jackson County Central's duo of Leah Burmeister and Brittney Bisaillon each had 20.5 points for WS.

Northern Iowa swept Southern Illinois with a margin of 19 points. Amy Sampson (Champlin Park) led both teams with 17 points.
